Join us at Tattersalls and Palace House for our final event of 2017 on 1st December

Join us at our Christmas party on 1st December for festive fun and a fantastic tour of the sales at Tattersalls, Newmarket, followed by a drinks reception at Palace House, surrounded by some of the best equine art in the world.

Tickets include;

  • Private tour of Tattersalls sales complex, during the December Foal Sale
  • Drinks reception and canapes at the Palace House, the National Heritage Centre for Horseracing & Sporting Art
  • Christmas raffle in aid of the Women in Racing Bursary Fund

Tickets are £25 for WiR Members and £30 for non-members.

Timings are as follows;

2.30: Arrival at Tattersalls Sales Complex Reception, located directly through the main entrance from the car park

2.45: Tour of Tattersalls begins

3.45: Opportunity to watch a number of Lots pass through the Sales Ring

5.00: Drinks reception at Palace House


To book your place on the event please email, with the following information;

  • Name 
  • Number of tickets required  for WiR members and names
  • Number of tickets required for non WiR members and names 

Once you have emailed to confirm how many tickets you would like you will be asked to make an online payment to the Women in Racing account. Please do email with any queries you may have regarding the event.

WiR Event Booking Policy

  1. Applicant should apply for an event by completing the booking process as requested.
  2. The booking process will request an indication of member/non member status and outline relevant costs, deadlines and payment methods. Full payment must be cleared before participation is confirmed.
  3. Individuals who are non-members and wish to become members must complete the application and payment processes for membership before qualifying for membership prices for an event or worst case, have submitted their application and been approved for membership and then pay for both membership and the event together in one sum. If they pay for an event as a member but are not approved as such nor have paid the subscription, they must pay the difference as a non-member to attend an event before their application for membership is then accepted.
  4. Members who wish to bring guests are fully responsible for handling all communications, including payments, and should not expect the organiser to contact their guest(s) for them.
  5. Organisers of events will not be responsible for chasing up applicants for entries or for payments.
  6. Our policy remains that payments for events, once booked, are non-refundable.

WiR works hard to keep costs to a minimum to make our events as inclusive as possible.

Please note that we operate a No Refund policy.
