Boden on the run for Racing Welfare

Only a year ago Eleanor Boden wasn't even sure she could run a mile... she's come a long way since then.

Having successfully completed a half marathon and clocked up nearly 500 training miles WiR committee member Eleanor Boden is working hard to prepare for the London Marathon in support of Racing Welfare.

Racing Welfare offers professional guidance and practical help to stud, stable and support staff who are dedicated to the well-being of racing from recruitment to retirement. Eleanor has both direct and indirect links with the industry within her PhD research role. She believes her general passion for horseracing allows her to confidently encourage and assist her students to develop a career with racehorses, enjoy a day at the races, and meet with aspiring females – ALL as a result of Racing Welfare.
