A great evening at Windsor Racecourse on August 18th at the co-hosted Women In Racing and Women in Football event.

We were fortunate to have Jacqui Oatley, the first female Match Of The Day presenter, with us to present the trophy to winning connections of the amusingly-named horse IF I WERE A BOY, winner of the Fillies' Handicap.

Racehorse trainer, Lawney Hill, very helpfully ran through how to read a racecard, which Women in Football guests in particular found very useful.

The event was an opportunity to swap notes and explore the synergy for women working in the two sports.

Women in Racing Chair, Sally-Rowley Williams was interviewed by At The Races in the paddock as guests gathered to judge the Best Turned Out horse. Click the image to watch the interview in full.
