Women in Racing is delighted to announce that, in partnership with Oxford Brookes University (OB), the group is to undertake ground-breaking research on the status of women within British Horseracing.

This is the first study ever to be done across the industry and will align horseracing with other sports as well as the corporate world, where such research has repeatedly and successfully been executed. WiR applied for and obtained a grant from The Racing Foundation, which enables us to proceed with this critical research.

As this is a large project that will include both an online survey and some targeted interviews we welcome participation from any member who wishes to join Susannah Gill, Kay Kent, Harriet Rochester and Sally Rowley-Williams – the WiR members of this task force. Please contact any of these four members if you are interested in taking part.
