Guests of the inaugural Women in Racing summer race evening on August 18th, held in partnership with Women in Football, raise their glasses in celebration of a successful event on the balcony of their box at Royal Windsor Racecourse.

Women in Racing (WiR) is a network supporting the careers of women within horseracing and the group joined forces with their equivalent in football, Women in Football, to hold a race night at Royal Windsor Racecourse's Monday night season finale.

Sally Rowley-Williams, Chair of WiR, said: "We are delighted to have joined up with Women in Football. Sport as a whole has so many synergies, especially football and horseracing as they are the most popular sports in the country. It has been great to share ideas on how we can develop and support female talent within our respective industries.

"The atmosphere has been really lively, with some guests enjoying their first visit to the races, and we look forward to working with Women in Football again in the future."

Join WiR now for just £25 a year – further details are available on the Membership page.
