WiR is delighted to invite you to a truly special event: a morning at Kingsclere, Park House Stables – the base of trainer Andrew Balding – on Friday April 17.
This special yard visit will be followed by an afternoon of racing at Newbury Racecourse for the first day of the Dubai Duty Free Spring Trials Meeting.
Breakfast will be served as part of the yard visit and the morning will include a tour of this historic and highly successful training operation with Andrew Balding. Meet ELM PARK, leading antepost contender for the spring classic races this year, and perhaps see him as part of the string of horses in training at work on the gallops.
From there, it's just a short drive to Newbury Racecourse where the gates open at 12 noon. WiR has organised a base for the day thanks to the generosity of the racecourse and afternoon tea is provided.
Costs are £45 for members • £60 for non-members – which includes refreshments at Kingslcere, raceday badges to Newbury and afternoon tea.
Payment must be received by Monday April 13 in order to secure your place. Numbers are limited to 20 so please book now to avoid disappointment.
