Claire has been training racehorses alongside her husband, Daniel Kubler for 7 years; they have recently been licensed as the first husband and wife training partnership under the BHA’s new regulations. Starting with six horses in a small rented yard they have developed their business and recently built a stunning new training yard in Upper Lambourn. Claire graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Natural Sciences and qualified as an Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers before moving in to racing full time.
The couple are recognised as one of the leading employers in the industry and won the Lycetts Team Champion Award in 2020.
Claire was Pupil Assistant Trainer for William Muir, Assistant Trainer for Patrick Gallagher in California and Assistant Trainer for classic winning trainer Jeremy Noseda in Newmarket before setting out together with Daniel. Claire spent a lot of time working alongside vets and physiotherapists to further develop her knowledge of all skills required to train racehorses to their peak potential. Over the last 2 years Claire has Site Managed and Project Managed the construction of their new training yard, Sarsen Farm, which includes quality staff accommodation, spacious stables and a stunning owners lounge.
